Taylor's Golden Age 50 Year Very Old Tawny

Taylor's Golden Age is a blend of ports that have been aged in oak barrels for five decades. Taylor's has one of the most extensive reserves of very old barrel aged Port.

In the nose elegant aromas of rum and raisins, cloves, nutmeg and a hint of cracked black pepper. Plums, quince and apricot dance in the mouth while the zest of lemon and orange provide a fresh acidity.

This 50 year old Tawny comes from the eastern areas of the Douro Valley where there is a climate with very warm summers and cold winters. The terroir has elements of slate and schist.

GRAPES : touriga franca, touriga nacional, tinta roriz ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 20.00%

An excellent accompaniment to many desserts. Combines well with flavors of figs, almonds and caramel. Goes perfectly with a crème brulée or a plate of wild strawberries.
